1.  Do my clothes fit properly? Seems simple right? Well for some they need to look again. From your underclothes to your top layers, if your garments are too small or too big, your first impression may come across as questionable.
  2. Do I match?  Whether your colors need to match or compliment each other, take a second look.  Where am I going today, is conservative my aim or is a pop of color appropriate. Depending on your career or goals, it may behoove you to consult a style and color consultant to optimize your appearance.  Most department stores have an expert in wardrobe style.
  3. Do I look flattering? When your clothes fit as they should and you are aware of your body type, complimenting your assets and subduing your shortfalls can be tricky. Choosing the right pattern can make you look better.
  4. Are my accessories right? Or did I overdue it? Are they appropriate for my work day or event?  A good indicator of current style is taking a look at our newscasters.  They are scrutinized on  television and their job depends on their appeal.
  5. What message am I sending by what I am wearing? This is key and this is where you want to take that second look before you walk out the door.  Is my boss going to look at me favorably? Is my client going to take me seriously? Does my appearance add credibility?
  6. And lastly, did my dry cleaner do a good job and make me look my best?
